This building is owned by one landlord and the entire place is infested with German cockroaches. I broke the lease for the first time in my life after less than three months because it was unbearable. The landlord refused to take responsibility and suggested a can of spray would solve it.
I spent over $1,000 of my own money on professional pest control and still found at least 10 cockroaches a night. They were in every room, including the bed, kitchen, living room and balcony. The infestation ruined my quality of life and I had to replace furniture, linens, clothes and personal items because the cockroaches got into everything. My mental health declined and I had panic attacks, especially after seeing the landlord let himself into flats when tenants were not home. The flat also regularly reached over 40 degrees inside, and I paid for new blinds because the owner dismissed the issue. Overall, the landlord was cheap, dismissive and unsafe.
