This unit was unrentable for years with the lease changing hands every 6 months. We discovered this was due to a professional musician living above who treated her owned unit like her a private studio. Noise all hours of the night, loud recorded music at 2am on a Tuesday. Noise from the entryway will also carry directly into your bedroom, so anyone arriving home late / leaving early will wake you up. Our landlord also wanted to raise our rent by 300 per week after our first lease ended. We are aware she bought the property outright with no mortgage. Just insane. The noise interrupted the entire otherwise lovely experience of living there. If a family with children now lives above you’ll be equally doomed. There’s just zero insulation between the floorboards and your ceiling.
