At first glance this seemed like a good property in a good location. However, there were fundamental building issues, including leaks from balconies above, with one bedroom positioned directly underneath an upper balcony.
Getting Ballarat Real Estate engaged with the issue was very difficult. The property developed recurring mould in another bedroom and we eventually had to go to VCAT to break the lease. Prospective tenants should thoroughly check for signs of water damage before renting in this building.
