Lived here in 2016. Bit of a dive. The wardrobe was falling apart and the drawers didn’t work. Kitchen was filthy, oven didn’t work, and when the agency finally sent an electrician after months he laughed and said it was the oldest oven he’d ever seen. It was eventually replaced.
Cupboards had cockroaches and definitely hadn’t been cleaned before we moved in. Kitchen and back door screens were broken so we couldn’t leave anything open without mozzies coming in. Bathroom was ancient with cracked tiles and a toilet that had a big chunk missing. The landlord seemed like a nice guy but apparently the agency didn’t tell him anything.
Worst bit was during move-out I cleaned everything, waited for the agent to show prospective tenants through, she never showed but the tenants did, so I had to show them through myself. We did have aircon and a small garden though, which was something.
