The tenancy was effectively managed directly by the landlord despite being listed through an agency. Repairs were delayed, poorly done, or never completed until after we moved out. The landlord was verbally abusive, confrontational and caused severe stress throughout the tenancy, including aggressive behaviour during the bond return. The apartment had ongoing maintenance issues, poor insulation, unreliable air conditioning, and extremely high unexplained water bills. While the location and neighbours were good, the landlord’s behaviour and property condition made the experience unbearable.
