This flat had no heating or air conditioning, making it unbearable in summer when the indoor temperature reached up to 45°C. The bedroom and bathroom windows provided no airflow, and black mould built up on the bathroom ceiling due to the lack of an exhaust fan. The kitchen was also poorly set up, with no rangehood or extraction fan above the stove and disintegrating chipboard left unfinished inside the cupboards under the sink. Overall, the property felt unsafe and unhealthy to live in.
