The apartment was infested with cockroaches and did not have proper sealing to prevent pests from entering. The landlord did not properly address the infestation, creating ongoing health and safety concerns.
There was also mould in the bedroom and bathroom. The ground floor apartment is located directly beside the rubbish bin area, which may contribute to the pest problem. The front door had no proper seal along the bottom, leaving an opening through which rodents and insects could enter. Overall, the property had serious pest, mould and maintenance issues.
