The property had a long-standing water leak that had reportedly existed for years. Water had flooded electrical power outlets and there were concerns that prolonged moisture had caused mould to develop inside the walls.
Rather than properly repairing the underlying issues, the landlord appeared to patch over the visible damage before renting the property again. Overall the property presented serious maintenance and safety concerns and did not appear to have been repaired to an acceptable standard.
