The agency handed over keys to a townhouse that was not liveable. It was not cleaned, there were ants everywhere, and multiple repairs were needed. When I questioned why it was in that state, I was told the landlord said I would take it as is, without anyone confirming this with me beforehand.
After I threatened legal action, I was refunded and the lease was ended, but there was no support or accountability for the disruption and stress. They left me with my belongings still packed while I searched for another place. A month later the same property was listed again. They also blocked any attempt for me to contact the landlord directly. Overall, the handling of the situation was negligent and unprofessional.
