The landlord and agency attempted to squeeze an extra week’s rent even after I had vacated the property, and also tried to charge for general wear and tear. Their handling of damage during floods was terrible – the unit was left without power for two weeks, while the rest of the street had power restored after only three days. Overall the management was unprofessional and dismissive of tenants’ rights.
