Old and run-down property. The owner purchased it cheaply at auction and refuses to repair or replace anything. Serious water issues — the garage and illegally converted carport regularly flood. The backyard drainage is blocked by tree roots, causing water to enter the rear of the house. Mould in the upstairs bathroom was simply painted over. After floods, the landlord refused to remove wet carpet for weeks, leading to black water and mould. A fallen tree destroyed the fence during a storm and took weeks to fix, even though the neighbouring property was managed by the same agency. The agent was rude, aggressive and unprofessional throughout.
