This property offered very little privacy, peace or quiet due to the landlord's son living next door. He was frequently home, involved himself in activity at the property and attempted to oversee work being completed, even when tenants were present. Cigarette smoke regularly entered through open windows and the back door. There were also frequent loud gatherings, sometimes more than once a week, with music and visitors continuing from late morning into the evening. The neighbour reportedly made unsupported complaints through the agency, which then reprimanded the tenants without first asking for their account. Overall, the ongoing noise, smoke, lack of privacy and poor handling by the agency made the tenancy unpleasant.
