We stayed in this property for just over two years and it was the most difficult rental we’ve ever endured. Mould was a constant issue and made my whole family unwell. After a minor fix the problem came back worse, and when flooding hit the bedrooms and shed we lost thousands of dollars’ worth of belongings. Two rooms were completely unusable for months, but we were still forced to pay full rent. An eventual insurance inspection deemed the place uninhabitable and we had to move out with no support.
The property itself was poorly maintained broken towel racks and blinds, unsafe gas bottles running through holes in the wall, peeling ceilings, constant spiders, and repeated break-ins. To top it off, after we left they tried to re-let the house at a higher rent without fixing anything. Living here was genuinely damaging to our health and wellbeing.
