Tenant Review

From Anonymous
September 25, 2025
I lived here for two years and dealt with a long list of frustrating problems. From the start, the power would cut out unexpectedly. At first, they blamed our new fridge, but it turned out to be a faulty fuse switch something that took multiple complaints and several electrician visits to finally diagnose. During winter, we were left without hot water for weeks because the system was solar-powered and didn’t work without sunlight. The agent kept telling us there was a button to reset it, but this mysterious button didn’t exist. That fix also dragged on far longer than it should have. There were plenty of other issues crumbling kitchen benches, torn fly screens, windows painted shut, rats in the walls, and recurring mould. When we raised these concerns, we also mentioned that the garden was one of the few things giving us any privacy. Instead of addressing the problems, they just ripped the entire garden out, leaving the place looking like a construction site. The rent started at $570 and was raised to $790 a year later, despite none of these issues being properly resolved. I wouldn’t recommend this place it just isn’t worth the stress.
