The initial inspection looked decent for the price, but several major issues were overlooked. There was no side fence or driveway gate — the damaged gate meant anyone could walk in at night. Pets had to be kept inside for safety. Several rooms had missing blinds, and the master bedroom had none at all, leaving no privacy. We assumed repairs were underway as contractors were seen working, and the listing promised a fully fenced property, but that never happened. We were misled about the true condition of the property. Unable to arrange a second inspection, we signed the lease based on assurances and the condition report. Upon moving in, it was immediately clear the agreement was void due to the property’s state. We were charged a 50 cleaning fee despite leaving it as found, and four days of rent despite only being there for about three hours. Overall, CPR Real Estate were unhelpful and misleading — we lost over ,000 and have been couch-surfing ever since.
