I stayed in this property for four years and problems never stopped. There was no separate electricity meter, so I ended up covering the power bill for the large family living downstairs. Bills were sky-high. Leaking taps were ignored, and the washing line even collapsed and hit me. The place was broken into multiple times, yet the owners refused to replace or repair the faulty lock.
When I moved in and later out, I carefully documented everything with photos and videos, which saved me at tribunal otherwise the inflated charges they tried to hit me with would have cost more than my bond. The agency were only interested in squeezing money and gave zero regard for tenants.
