Lived here for 3.5 years. The ad said there was a self-contained flat with its own bathroom — not true. The shower was unfinished and only the toilet could be used. All gutters were rusted, missing or disconnected so the carport flooded in any rain. The entry condition report said they would be replaced — 3.5 years later they still weren’t. The hot water system leaked for 16 months, roof leaked in the lounge for over a year, tiles cracked and lifted throughout, kitchen tap leaked with mould growing, and every tap made a loud clunking sound. The back deck was rotting and unsafe, septic smell often filled the house, and the lounge light would turn on by itself. Heating was pointless; the house lost warmth immediately. The flat’s kitchen sink leaked and was mouldy, the backyard had an unsafe hole covered with a tile, gates and posts were rotten, pavers lifting, and the outside aircon unit was extremely loud. Repeated reports went ignored by Ray White Batemans Bay.
