Life at 7–9 Florence Street was overwhelmingly negative. The building community was cliquey and unwelcoming, with renters treated as outsiders. Noise travelled easily between apartments — from neighbours’ music to daily routines — making privacy impossible. The property itself was cold, dark and poorly insulated, with hydronic heating that didn’t work well and finishes that wore quickly but were never maintained. Mould and dampness were ongoing, and repairs were delayed or ignored. What was marketed as a 'sustainable' or 'community-minded' development felt misleading and left me feeling excluded and unwelcome. I would not recommend renting here.
