When we moved in, ants were everywhere, followed by a slug invasion — annoying but manageable. The real problems began when the bathroom fan stopped working and the shower started leaking. Despite repeated requests, Dynamic Real Estate ignored us for months before finally fixing both on the same day. Smoke alarms would go off randomly at all hours, and the agency again failed to resolve the issue. In winter, with no functioning heating, mould spread rapidly and ruined much of our furniture. We spent hundreds on dehumidifiers and heaters just to stay warm. When lease renewal came up, the agency delayed communication for weeks before demanding a 20% rent increase, later offering 10% after more emails — still refusing to recognise the property’s poor condition, safety issues, or mould. The property hasn’t been updated since 2008, with cracks, peeling putty, and poor insulation. Overall, Dynamic Real Estate were unresponsive and unprofessional. Living here was stressful, unhealthy, and not worth the rent.
