This apartment had major safety and health issues that were ignored by the managing agency. The smoke detector was faulty and would go off at any time of day or night, forcing us to climb a ladder to silence it repeatedly. After weeks of disturbed sleep and several complaints, the agency still did nothing, even after neighbouring tenants also raised concerns. On moving out, we discovered a large patch of black mould in the main bedroom, which explained some of the respiratory problems my housemate had developed. It was a frustrating and unsafe experience overall, made worse by the lack of response from management.
