The property looks appealing from the outside but was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. The building has serious design flaws — no proper slab between levels, meaning you can hear every word from upstairs, and sewerage pipes run through bedroom cupboards. The basement floods whenever it rains, and the owner constantly appears on-site doing unqualified repairs. Security is poor with repeated burglaries. After moving out, I was hit with fraudulent repair invoices for thousands of dollars through the owner’s own company. Other tenants have ongoing VCAT cases for the same behaviour. It’s a stressful and unsafe place to live despite the beachfront location. Avoid completely.
