The landlord was extremely hands-off and refused to carry out repairs, instead blaming the tenant for mould. They attempted to evict the tenant during Covid and did not provide alternative accommodation while the kitchen was gutted and the second bedroom was used as a workshop. The landlord even shut off the gas while the tenant was still living there. The matter was taken to tribunal and the tenant won. Overall, a very poor and unsafe rental experience.
