The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and constantly grew mould. I escalated to Fair Trading, who found the house not legally habitable due to lack of ventilation, but they still didn't add an exhaust fan as the ceiling had asbestos, even though they could have added one to the window. There was also an infestation of German cockroaches throughout the entire building. Elements on the electric stove would regularly break and catch fire.
