We have lived here for six months and the landlord refused to install fly screens due to cost. A large crack appeared in a main wall and was initially dismissed as minor structural movement. After follow up, a tradesperson confirmed the wall had shifted significantly beyond acceptable tolerance. The crack had previously been plastered over.
A broken floorboard inspection later revealed extensive termite infestation requiring full floor replacement. There are also issues with an above ground water pipe that should have been installed underground. The property feels not up to code despite charging $500 per week and requiring six months rent upfront.
Ongoing repairs have caused constant trades visits, adding stress during a busy work period. Overall the property appears structurally compromised and poorly managed.
