The property was advertised as having new flooring, curtains, oven and kitchen upgrades, however this did not reflect the actual condition on moving in. Maintenance was rarely completed unless formal breach notices were issued, and even then repairs were often left unfinished.
There were also disputes around tenancy termination, with attempts made to charge break lease costs despite unresolved breaches. The property had reportedly been occupied by squatters prior to the tenancy, and there were attempted break ins during the stay. Police were called regarding a person looking through windows while children were inside.
Neighbouring properties caused significant issues, including ongoing noise and suspected illegal activity that could be heard from nearby homes. Overall the experience felt unsafe and poorly managed.
