This was a relatively new apartment when we rented it, but it already had major structural and comfort issues. The underground car park was unsafe, with long cracks in the ceiling and steel support beams between every parking space. Reinforcement work was carried out section by section, but the beams remained, making parking awkward. Inside, the living area had no curtain despite a streetlight shining directly through the window. There was only one air conditioner located in the living room and no fly screens, so in summer we had to choose between keeping the door closed for cool air or opening the windows for ventilation and dealing with insects. It was a frustrating place to live overall, especially for the rent being charged.
