Upkeep on this property is almost non-existent, and what has been done is clearly the landlord’s poor DIY work. Rooms are sloppily painted with mismatched paint and second-hand curtains. As of 2023, there is broken asbestos cement material in the storeroom under the stairs and the bathroom ceiling. The backyard contains buried glass fragments that surface after rain. Water seeps through the downstairs floors during heavy rain, and the upstairs level traps heat, staying hotter than outside well into the night. The landlord has twice rejected requests for insulation, ceiling fans, or air conditioning — even when tenants offered to pay. There are holes in the bedroom floors and pantry, gaps in the living room walls, and the ‘double carport’ is so tight you can’t open your car doors. Avoid.
