We rented this home through 2016 and 2017 and it remains one of the worst rental experiences we have had. The property had severe mould, asbestos panels, lead paint and a leaking roof that was never replaced. Multiple professional reports confirmed the roof needed major repairs to stop the mould returning, yet nothing was done. Our newborn developed nasal blockages, blood noses and eye irritation that improved temporarily when the mould was treated, then returned when it came back. Little Real Estate repeatedly ignored these issues and failed to meet their legal obligations under Queensland tenancy law to maintain a habitable home. The experience left us deeply concerned about our family's health and the lack of accountability within the rental system.
