The windows were painted shut and mould developed in the kitchen and bathroom. The main bedroom also smelled of mice when I moved in. With no air conditioning and very poor insulation, the house reached around 38 degrees inside during summer and was freezing during winter.
There was a large hole through the kitchen floor to the ground below, allowing pests to enter freely. A tradesperson attending for an unrelated issue warned us not to enter the garage because its walls contained exposed and broken asbestos sheeting, with plants growing through it.
The current listing photos appear to have been taken years before the tenancy and did not reflect the property's actual condition. Overall, the house had serious mould, insulation, pest and safety issues.
