House was in great condition at move-in but quickly deteriorated. Doors became too heavy to move, the front door was coming off its hinges, and the dishwasher stopped working. The landlord repeatedly dismissed these issues, saying 'that’s how the house is', and took months to fix anything. She also tried to illegally raise rent after just six months of a 12-month lease, then refused to negotiate when she raised it again at renewal. When we gave notice, she argued for three weeks instead of the legal two and then relisted the property for 0 less than what she’d demanded from us. Rude, exploitative, and ignorant of tenant rights — a terrible experience overall.
