Reasonably modern renovated townhouse with split system heating and cooling in each bedroom and the downstairs living area. However, there were significant waterproofing issues. The garage door between the garden and garage was not suitable for external exposure and would swell and stick in wet weather. Water also seeped in through the garage window and ceiling.
There were balcony waterproofing issues in the master bedroom causing water damage to the living room ceiling. Electrical safety was originally not up to code, with damaged power points hidden behind appliances at inspection. Repairs were only addressed after raising potential legal action.
Landlords attempted to fix issues themselves instead of engaging licensed trades. When the managing agent left, we were not informed of a new contact and emails went unanswered for months. Maintenance from the initial condition report required escalation to Consumer Affairs. The property could be good if properly managed, but overall management and responsiveness were poor.
