The tenancy was ended after one year, and we later learned this had happened to several previous families as well. The lease was not renewed beyond 12 months, which meant ongoing housing security was not possible. In the current rental market this forced us to relocate further away from Ballarat.
Prospective tenants should be aware that the property appears to operate strictly on 12 month leases. If you are seeking longer term stability, it is worth clarifying renewal intentions with the agency before applying.
