I rented this property with two other students and the condition of the house caused ongoing health concerns including coughing, skin irritation and headaches. We later discovered extensive black mould throughout the kitchen, which appeared to be linked to a long-standing roof leak. After heavy rain, water leaked through the kitchen ceiling. A tradesperson who had previously attended the property advised that the roof had required major repairs for years but the landlords had never approved the work. Despite raising these issues, no meaningful repairs were carried out. Rather than remain in the property, we left when a rent increase was proposed. The agency continues to advertise the property using old photos that do not reflect its true condition. Based on our experience, the property had significant mould and maintenance issues that were never properly addressed.
