We rented this property for a while and dealt with ongoing issues that were never properly addressed. The back fence was destroyed in a bad storm, and it took the landlord a full year to repair it. Our heating system broke down halfway through winter in 2022, and despite repeated requests, it was never fixed. Instead, the landlord went on holidays to Bali and Queensland while we had no heating or cooling for an entire year. The garage motor also failed and was never repaired, even after we asked multiple times. Meanwhile, the landlord would complain about minor things, like slightly overgrown grass — during the middle of winter, when it was raining and I was working long hours. At one point, he called to say we needed to vacate so his daughter could move in, only to change his mind later. Despite all this, he kept raising the rent. We eventually decided to move out due to the ongoing neglect and lack of support.
