The house itself was fine, but the landlords were extremely intrusive and difficult to deal with. Despite never missing rent, they regularly attended and instructed us on minor matters such as watering roses, while neglecting larger issues like overgrown bamboo affecting the yard.
Maintenance was only addressed when clear legal liability was raised. Shortly before Christmas we were issued a notice to vacate. The landlords also attempted to have us paint walls they had previously damaged. Communication from the agency largely deflected responsibility back to the landlord. Overall, the experience felt unfair and unnecessarily stressful.
