Older, worn unit with high ceilings and a great location. Quiet street, untimed parking and close to transport were big positives, and I genuinely enjoyed living here. The negatives are real though. Repairs are basically DIY — reporting issues risks being blamed for them. The bathroom has significant mould and the fan barely works unless you jab it with a broom handle. The power regularly trips: running toaster + kettle + microwave is impossible, and sometimes the bedroom circuits die for months at a time. Expect noisy neighbours, planes overhead and train sounds — or call it character. Despite the quirks, there’s a nice park nearby and the place has charm if you can tolerate the chaos.
