The apartment is infested with German cockroaches, and the agent refuses to be upfront about it or provide proper assistance. The landlord neglects maintenance, allowing the infestation to persist while denying responsibility. Fumigations are offered but useless because the source — likely within the walls — is never treated. Expect roaches to return within weeks. Inspect thoroughly before signing anything: check under cupboards, behind skirting boards, and in corners for droppings and eggs. Be very cautious renting here.
