Leaks in roof above laundry caused visible black mould on the sun-room wall. The external back door was unlockable for six months due to water damage causing expansion and mould; the door was replaced twice with an internal door unsuitable for outside use, and it failed again. Leaks flooded the laundry and back entrance during heavy rain. The provided gas heater was inadequate for the whole house—very cold in winter. The concrete slab is sinking under the sun-room, laundry, toilet and third bedroom, causing structural issues and cracks in walls. The shed doesn’t lock as advertised. The real estate agency withheld three months of overpaid rent after we left because “it was difficult to get in touch with the landlord”. They often did not reply to maintenance requests, and on a phone call about delayed repairs they suggested if it was “too inconvenient we can move out and they’d give us a good reference.”
