By the second year of living there, black mould had started to appear and gradually spread through the kitchen, laundry, and the entire back section of the house, which made up about half the place. Eventually, it reached the front rooms as well. The walls were even starting to bulge from the moisture.

The landlord got a few different companies in to give quotes on fixing it, but in the end it just looked like he painted over the problem.

We had ongoing health issues from the constant exposure. Living in that place was genuinely awful.
