Black mould was present when we moved in — temporarily cleaned but quickly returned. For two and a half years, the agency refused to address it until we got lawyers involved, at which point the owner finally paid for repairs to meet minimum living standards. Both tenants developed health issues as a result. The bathroom had terrible ventilation, and one of the bedrooms had sealed windows that couldn’t be opened. The garbage chute was broken for seven months, forcing everyone to carry rubbish down 27 floors. Amenities were subpar, and the agency exploited tenants during the rental crisis, charging 00 a week for a two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit. The balcony was unsafe, and bedrooms received little natural light. We never received the legally required electrical or gas safety reports, despite months of requests. Fire safety inspectors later confirmed the apartment lacked sufficient smoke alarms. The agency also falsified the condition report, showing a clean rangehood that was in fact filthy and never fixed. Avoid this place and this agency.
