We were warned by the agency that nothing would be fixed, and they weren’t kidding. The property was unsafe and in poor condition: cracked concrete kitchen floor from subsidence, collapsed floorboards under carpet, sinking tiles around the toilet, and a bedroom so tilted you had to sleep at an angle. One wall was literally covered in foam instead of insulation. Overall a hazardous, neglected rental that should not have been on the market.
