Tenant Review

From Anonymous
October 26, 2025
This property was in terrible shape and should never have been rented in that condition. The floors were rotting, the kitchen was just contact stuck over bare cement, and the roof leaked. When I moved in there was a gas leak and the provider shut it off for safety. It took over two months to get a working stove. The landlord lived next door and constantly interfered, shouting about lights, parking and anything else he could think of. He blocked the real estate from arranging repairs and sent his unlicensed friends to do electrical work that tripped the safety switch whenever the kettle was boiled. When the toilet blocked, he opened the sewer pipe himself with bare hands, yelling that I would owe him thousands. He knew the house had fleas when I moved in but refused to pay for proper treatment, demanding I use his mate for an inflated price. Cockroaches were left untreated. I began to suspect he was entering the property while I was out as he mentioned things he couldn’t have known otherwise. He even tried to pressure me into fraudulently claiming flood relief and giving him the money. Living there was pure stress and moving out was an enormous relief.
