The apartment itself was tidy and reasonably well maintained, but a few issues made living there less pleasant. The main problem was the constant barking from a dog in the garden below, which carried through most of the day. One of the neighbours was also quite intrusive and seemed to keep a close eye on everyone. The flat became unbearably hot in summer, often sitting above thirty degrees because it faced the sun all day and had no air conditioning at the time. I believe the owner has since had one installed, which would make a big difference. Overall it was an average place in a convenient location, but comfort and privacy were definite drawbacks.
