This granny flat was marketed as a 2-bedroom but is really a small one-bedroom with a walkthrough room to reach the bathroom and no built-in storage. The subdivision isn't legally registered so the address often doesn't exist in systems, causing ongoing issues with mail and utilities. The bathroom fan was marked 'sighted but not tested' and wasn't working when we moved in, taking 4 months of chasing to fix. Gas and electricity failures were only dealt with once we flagged them as urgent repairs. Multiple leaking taps were ignored until visiting tradespeople fixed them on the side. The fly screen door broke off in high winds and was left unrepaired for weeks despite being a safety hazard. The rangehood is noisy and possibly broken, and the oven stopped working 5 months ago but still hasn't been fixed despite repeated requests. Maintenance requests are often ignored or rejected outright on the portal, and only urgent issues get attention. The only positives are the location and absence of mould.
