This sharehouse had a mix of positives and negatives. The agency maintained the property well and responded quickly to fix the bathroom ventilation. Rent remained stable throughout the tenancy, inspections were easy and well-timed, and the location was excellent with large bedrooms and one of the best bathrooms I have seen in a rental. On the downside, the living area was tiny and made it hard to host guests. Two bedrooms faced the train line, making them quite noisy, and the converted granny flat at the rear felt dark and cramped. During COVID, the agency was unhelpful when tenants requested rent relief, demanding extensive documentation and ignoring follow-up calls and emails. Overall, it was a livable place in a good area but managed without much empathy.
