When the weather was warm this apartment felt fine, but as soon as winter arrived it turned into a mould trap. Overnight condensation built up so badly that water would drip from the windows onto the bed, and every morning the glass looked like it had been raining inside. We had to wipe down every surface daily. Furniture, shoes and clothes all developed mould spots. The landlord and agent dismissed it as our fault, saying we had not ventilated enough, but it is unrealistic to expect tenants to sleep with windows open during freezing nights. The problem is clearly structural and has made the property unhealthy to live in.
