The townhouse looked lovely at first, but living there made both my disabled son and me seriously ill. We developed headaches, dizziness and extreme fatigue which were later confirmed to be caused by mould exposure. I hired an independent mycologist from NSJ Envirosciences who found the mould levels so severe that the property was unfit for human habitation. When I reported this to Airbnb and Airkeeper they dismissed the issue and continued renting it out. The cleaner later mentioned a washing machine leak that had never been properly dried, which explained the extent of the contamination. Despite the clear health risks, no refund or remediation was offered. This was an extremely expensive stay at more than two thousand dollars per week, and I would warn others to avoid it entirely. It looks appealing in photos, but the hidden mould can make you seriously ill.
