At least two tenants in a row have endured major roof leaks here. During ordinary rain events, water poured from the ceiling, causing extensive interior damage. Despite multiple reports, the agency refused to compel the owners to replace the failing gutters or remove the property from the market as uninhabitable. Independent roofing assessments confirmed the gutters were long overdue for replacement and completely inadequate. The agency sided with the owners throughout, mishandled bond return processes, and instead of fixing anything, simply painted over the damage and relisted the property at a higher rent, calling it ‘freshly painted’. Appalling disregard for tenant safety and honesty.
