Two of the bedrooms had black mould on the ceiling and walls, which is a pretty major issue and a waste of time to find out at a 4pm inspection I had to leave work for. The house itself is decent, but the listing photos were from when the property sold back in 2011 and it looks very different now. The carpets hadn’t even been vacuumed, let alone cleaned. The property history says a lot, it sat on the market for 272 days in 2020, then got leased for six months in late 2022, and again in April 2023. Looks like there’s a six-month cycle, probably because tenants get kicked out for asking for repairs. When I visited, the nature strip was piled with furniture which made it seem like the last tenants had been moved on quickly.
