The landlord allowed mould to build up for nearly ten months. When we asked for it to be fixed, they responded by increasing the rent. After we moved out, we discovered they hadn’t lodged our bond or reported the rental income to the ATO. The entire experience was dishonest, unhealthy and stressful – would never rent from them again.
